Wednesday Wardrobe 2012-33

Silly kid. She picked out the shirt and skirt last night, then remembered that she needed pants to do cart wheels.

Next she wanted a hair now, but the wonder woman hairbow didn't match the green lantern shirt... So there was a last minute costume change!!

First day of school - as told by Aurora herself

First day of school!!!! (WW 2012-32)

Today is the day. This is it. This is the day my baby isn't a baby and starts school!! Real school. Not daycare school, public school. I'm so excited and so is Aurora.

Today we headed out to Rainbow Elementary School dressed to impress, lunch box in hand, and smiles on our faces.

Her teacher, Ms. Thomason, seems very nice.

We went on a chicka chick scavenger hunt in the school today to find all the important places, like the playground, lunchroom, gym, and nurse's office. This was a really neat idea! Aurora was so proud to be able to show me all the places.

I left this morning with her playing with this new fiend, Rylie. She's fine, and I am an emotional mess. My baby girl isn't such a baby any more.

Aurora went for her school physical yesterday. She's just as healthy as can be, right in target for her age, and ready for school to start!!

She has new purple sneakers, and has been practicing tying bows! My girl baby is growing up fast.

Wrapping up our vacation in North Carolina.
We were fortunate to be able to spend the week with our favorite people...

We played on the beach, ate at the pier, visited the boardwalk (and won some teeth), and took the ferry to visit the aquarium.

What a great trip.
