Gulf Shores trip

Aurora is having a great time at the beach this week! She has become a great surfer and swimmer and sand crab catcher.  We've been blessed with wonderful weather and great company. She is looking forward to our annual North Carolina trip this summer too. Aurora is growing up so quickly.

Field day at school

Aurora's field day was a blast! They spent the whole morning outside in their "outdoor classroom" playing games and exploring! Then they had a picnic lunch and were able to buy snow cones! 

At the end of the day she was completely worn out! 

Late update

Aurroa's Girl Scout troop went to a horse ranch in April, I just got around to uploading the photos. She had a bunch of fun brushing the horses, riding, and 'delivering mail'.

End of year progress reports

I had a parent-teacher conference yesterday. Aurora's teacher speaks highly of her. She says Aurora is sweet, and able to play with anyone, that she has great problem solving skills and has mastered the pre-k skills set. 

Here are her progress reports from this year. You can see that she entered pre-k knowing a lot of the information, but now, and the school year ends, she is leaving and knows all of it! I'm so proud of my girl! 

Ms. Thomason said that Aurora scored 1:8 overall. That means that she has neared grade 1 readiness. (1:8 is the same as kindergarten and 8 months!)
