Kindergarten meet & greet.
Aurora met her new teacher today: Mrs. Stepko. She is very excited about being part of this class this year! It looks like the start of a great kindergarten school year!
Kindergarten must be hard work.
We had a very busy weekend, spending a good five hours In the ER on Sunday. Aurora had a nosebleed that just didn't want to stop.
After 30 minutes I made the decision to go in to the ER. It's a long time for someone's baby to be bleeding! We waited and were seen by a very nice doctor. After seeing the doctor we were told that it needed to be cauterized. That was absolutely no fun.
She seems really good now, no nosebleed sense. Hoping that it stays that way. Today she was back to her normal self: out running and playing and bossing the dogs around.
Kindergarten must be very exhausting though, she has been Falling asleep before I can even get into tell her story sometimes as early as 7:30 PM
Aurora loves her teacher so far this year. We are looking forward to such a good school year and this being the school she'll be in for the next years to come. As we get into a groove Aurora is picking up some more responsibilities about getting her clothes for school days, packing her snack, and even helping to pack her lunch on the days that she Decides she does not want the school one.

Birthday wish lists
Aurora and I have been planning her birthday party (dr who themed!) and today she made her birthday wish list. I'm very impressed with her ability to sound out these words, with no help at all.

Wednesday wardrobe 7/30/13
School is about to start, time to scrape pennies and gather supplies. Aurora will have a screening interview on August 6th to hopefully meet her teacher and get the supply lists. It's an exciting time to be a kindergarten kid!
