Wednesday Wardrobe - 14 March 2012

Today Aurora wanted to wear her butterfly shirt and a pair of jean shorts with her light up shoes.

We spent the entire afternoon outside and what a perfect day as it was sunny with a nice breeze all day.

We spent our time digging with her Tonka trucks in the leaves, playing with the dogs, blowing bubbles, and being lazy in the hammock.

Wednesday Wardrobe 2012-2

It's Thursday. I know that. But still.... Here's my girl.

Winter coat. Long johns. Dinosaur shirt. Black pants. Brown shoes. Princess socks.

That's just how we do it.

As I'm sure it has been all over the South, the weather has been completely insane down in LA.

Because of this Rorie decided to wear her ca-pries seeing as "It's just as hot as the summer, Daddy."

And to further take advantage of the good weather we gave the dogs a bath. After which, Rorie and the dogs became even further inseparable and played all-day around the house....most of the games involving them either being "those stinking hyenas" or getting eaten by an Aurorasaurus.

Aurora is sporting some cuddle duds on this frigid morning. There is ice on the cars and ice on the roads and ice in the yard! So we bundled up today...

Its a grouchy morning this Wednesday! With the strange weather (30's over night, 40s in the morning and 70's in the afternoon) we are in jeans and long sleeves, then a jacket. Layers are the name of the game I guess for this season!

Aurora tied her own shoes again this morning, with minimal help from me, she is getting so good at it! her fine motor skills are just amazing!

Today I asked Aurora to try on a pair of pants to see if they fit. They didn't. BUT she saw a shirt in her basket that matched the pants. So I told her high waters are not cute. I told her the tight waistband would hurt her by the end of the day. I told her she looked like a candy cane .... Nothing mattered to her though. In other news: she did tie this shoe!! happy Wednesday everyone!

Today we spent the afternoon in the back yard under the giant oak tree playing. However before hand, Aurora wanted to be sure she had on her new set of shoes which light up....she was very proud of them.

After making sure that they did in fact still light up, it was time for us to go outside. She spent the remainder of the afternoon playing tag with the dogs, pretending to be a princess on safari with her Barbies and Lion King toys, and last but not least playing with her much beloved Tonka trucks in the dirt.

Too great an outfit to not share with you all... One purple and one Halloween sock. Summer shorts. 2 pairs of panties (that is why I asked her to hold her shirt up a little.) and a Christmas shirt.....
