With a last minute wardrobe change, Aurora went trick or treating as a cowboy! 

She had a very busy day at school, carving a pumpkin and having a party. 

She spent a good bit of the day practicing her hat twirl, and yelling "howdy partner!"

At an event earlier in the week she was batman for the last time :)

Hello everyone. I've been slow to post, sorry. Life is busy around here! Like 7 days a week, scheduling things 6 weeks in advance, what day is it now busy!!! (Also, I post from my phone and sometimes timely pats fail to go through.)

Aurora is doing great! She got her report card today (kindergarten progress report) and is doing wonderfully! She met all goals except "completes work in a timely manner"... Go figure. Pretty sure that one doesn't come from me.

Aurora has decided to be batman doctor for Halloween. That would be Batman who carries the sonic screwdriver from Dr. Who. 

We have been to the pumpkin patch 3 times, I love fall!! We will be carving pumpkins this weekend. That's a big deal around here! 

School Pictures were last week. She says she smiled, I sure hope so.

I wanted to share with you Aurora's first trip to the skating rink. She had a really great time. Check it out. 

Halloween is coming up

And Aurora is ready! 

She's planning to be a Wonder Woman, Batman, Doctor Who. It will be interesting.

Aurora's 6th Birthday Celebration

It rained today. Aurora's birthday party was planned to be at the park, but - the park was flooded. It rained. A lot.

We moved the party to Bandito (our back up plan for every occasion!).

We had board games to play, and chicken and fruits and delicious cake to eat!

Aurora enjoyed her birthday! She opened presents and blew out her candle and ran and played and laughed!

First day of Kindergarten

(Note from Marissa: oops. I didn't realize this one didn't publish... A month ago!. I will try to be better. )

It's amazing how much a year can make a kid grow up! Aurora started kindergarten this year, she has the same teacher her friend Logan had last year. We are very excited for this school year, and the years to come as Aurora meets new friends here. This is the school she will attend for the next few years. 

She wants to ride the bus, I'm just a little hesitant about that. Maybe we will try it when she is 6.
